For over 40 years, students from the Hanse-Kolleg have been travelling to the German capital. Back in 1979, the main focus was on discussing the plays we attended every evening. Today, we combine this tradition with an attractive daytime programme.

Always worth a visit: Berlin! Around 170 museums, 150 theatres and 30 palaces are waiting to be discovered; you can visit the centre of political power and explore important sites from Germany’s past and present. And last but not least, in the evening hours, thousands of restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs are just waiting to be discovered. The whole of Berlin is a stage! Theatre visits are on the programme for three to four evenings. And not just anywhere, of course. Berlin is home to some of the most renowned theatres: the Deutsches Theater, the Schaubühne, the Volksbühne, the Gorki Theatre, the Schlossparktheater and the Renaissancetheater – in these and many other venues, you’ll encounter leading actors and the avant-garde of the German theatre scene. Students from all three Hanse-Kolleg campuses (Lippstadt, Hamm and Beckum) are invited to experience this unforgettable trip.
