The Werner Bohrer Circle is the friends’ association of the Hanse-Kolleg and has also been organising cultural events in Lippstadt for many years. Werner Bohrer was the founder of the Lippstadt Evening School. The Hanse-Kolleg owes it to him and his ideas that it has a working atmosphere in which learning is not merely a burden.
A two-fold commitment – the Werner Bohrer Circle
Through its cultural events, the Werner Bohrer Circle represents the school to the wider community and within the town’s cultural life. At the same time, it provides financial support to the school and its students.
We support our school’s public relations work by funding promotional activities.
We are involved in the design of our premises.
We help students in need, for example with study trips.
We support extracurricular clubs and teaching projects that require significant resources.
Cultural events organised by the Bohrer Circle
The association’s events cover a wide range of topics (music, politics, cabaret, theatre, readings) and are an integral part of our school’s cultural life. We regularly welcome interesting and sometimes prominent guests who have something to say to our auditorium and studio stage.

Through ‘EULE’, our newsletter, we keep in touch with members and former students. As members of the society, alumni can continue to attend our events at a reduced price. Take a look at the upcoming events.
