Always worth a visit: Berlin! There are around 170 museums, 150 theatres and 30 palaces to discover, the centre of political power to visit, and important sites from Germany’s past and present to explore. And last but not least, come night-time, there are many thousands of restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs just waiting to be discovered. The whole of Berlin is a stage! Theatre visits are on the programme for three to four evenings. And not just anywhere, of course. Berlin is home to some of the most renowned theatres: the Deutsches Theater, the Schaubühne, the Volksbühne, the Gorki Theatre, the Schlossparktheater and the Renaissancetheater – in these and many other venues, you’ll encounter leading actors and the avant-garde of the German theatre scene. Students from all three Hanse-Kolleg campuses (Lippstadt, Hamm and Beckum) are invited to experience this unforgettable trip.
